Facts and HOLES in education System(oops I shouldnt write this)
- If one can write his/her name correctly in any language is considered to be educated or literate.
- Student politics is also a major issue, as many institutions are run by politicians.
- Ragging used to be a major problem in colleges
- Engineering, medical and other lucrative seats are sometimes sold for high prices and ridden with nepotism and power-play.
- The presence of a number of education boards (SSC, ICSE, CBSE, IB) leads to non-uniformity.

It really make me feel very sad. Noone want it but it is all due to some leaders for their personal benefits. I hope someday they will end all such things.

Really very informative, touching, and eyeopening..But all these problems have created a new kind of problem in front of us: Everyone is talking about some or other problem, trying to bring into others notice. It’s a good thing but at the same time it’s become problem because nobody is trying to act upon these issues to abolish such abuses.

you are right . These are some serious matters. The major factor is caste . they say we abolish caste but why we need quotas ? if caste has to be abolished it should be from the roots ie in schools
The complaining attitude is the biggest problem of indians .
The biggest problem is the social and political structures which does not allow talented people in both upper classes and lower classes to take hold of leadership in industry and politics. The caste situation is employed as a disingenuous tactic to divert the focus away from the main issue: lack of management of resources and need of a meritocracy. The caste system is just a red herring. The reality is that by continously strumming the harp on how bad the caste divide is, and then bringing inefficient (though politically powerful and wealthy) people from the so-called lower classes into pivotal positions, where they are bound to fail, and then generalizing that lower classes should not be given authority just proves nothing. It merely reiterates that we just are not good enough and ALSO that we dont want to do anything about it. So, in my opinion, enough on wallowing about the demerits of the great caste divide, focus on merit, ingenuity and hardwork. Reservations in educational institutions should be by economic category not caste-based. Give jobs on merit only.
these are all the problems every country is facing but the difference in our country is politicians made this situation n how poor the people are..in a shop a few persons wearing jean,shoes n wore glass n eatin in an ac room but few childs dont hav food and even dresses to wear…see wats d situation…first create a criteria in politics as everyone should be educated then oly they will be qualified..
